Gump today - March 2009
A beautiful, balanced, mature dog, Gump has given his admirers three fabulous litters. Amoung his puppies' accomplishments are Lacey in Atlanta who was awarded a CD at nine months of age, Starbuck in MA a certified therapy dog, and Melody in Virginia who is almost a finished champion with very, very little showing. Gump's kids have inherited his exceptional breed type and solid, happy temperament.
Look for huge things in the future for Gump and his puppies.
Gump once known as our "little man" is now one of our big boys. He is our Emmie's baby boy from her first litter and in his one match won Best Puppy at the Potomac Valley BMD club match fall of 2004. See his puppy picture below with Kasey Von Engle handling him.
He was my pick of the litter from the start and I expected and got huge things from him in the show ring.
Gump finished his championship easily at nine months of age, taking among other wins a five point major at the CVBMDC supported entry February, 2005 and a four point major the following day in Atlanta, both with me on the end of the lead.
